7/12/2011 (Wed) - Airtricity Under-19 League, Elite Division The Gypsies bossed the first half at the crisply cold Carlisle Grounds, but their hosts were often dangerous on the break and Greg Murray had to be at his best a little too often, especially towards the interval. Bohs missed quite a few decent chances and went in at the break perhaps a little frustrated that this might cost them. The second half was just 20 seconds old when Jack Watson saw his effort crash back into play off the bar after Correy Davidson provided the assist from the left wing. Perhaps it was going to be one of those nights? The Wanderers played a lot better in this period but Bohs continued to look the likelier scorers of this lively encounter and so it proved. The Gyspies went with two strikers for the last half hour, Gary Caffrey coming on for the luckless Conor O'Brien. Watson, who showed some wonderful touches throughout, turned provider in the 87th minute after working down the right. When the ball duly arrived Caffrey was the coolest man on the park, biding his time as the home defence frantically tried to recover before smacking home a sweet low shot Bray's keeper had no chance of getting to. Bohemians - Greg Murray; Michael Barker, Paddy Seery (capt), Ryan Thorpe, Philip McCabe; Michael Scott, Daniel Byrne, Luke Byrne (77 Gareth Brady), Correy Davidson; Conor O'Brien (61 Gary Caffrey); Jack Watson.
