| Phizzfest returns in September |

@bfcdublin Want a laugh from Karl Spain? Want to learn about coarse angling on the Royal Canal? Want to hear writers Dermot Bolger and Brian Keenan in conversation? You can do all this and more in this year's Phizzfest, the Phibsborough community arts festival. The programme for the festival is even more ambitious than for last year's very successful inaugural festival. The talks, exhibitions, readings, concerts and other events take place in venues in the streets around Dalymount Park. There is a curtain-raiser (and fundraiser) quiz night at Cumiskey's pub on Upper Dominick Street on Friday 26th August. Exhibitions open on Friday 3rd September and there are events from Tuesday 6th September to the following Sunday.
