| Pamphlet tells club's early history |

A 40-page pamphlet covering aspects of the early history of Bohemian FC has gone on sale. This is the work of history researcher and Bohs supporter Ciaran Priestley. He has set up www.dalymountproject.com to sell the pamphlet but also as a platform for collecting and making available more material about the club’s history. Ciaran, a former history teacher, is particularly keen to develop materials that could be used in schools. Making more people aware of the club’s rich history is a way to broaden popular support, he believes. Ciaran has presented his work on Bohemians’ early years at several history conferences and has invitations to present it at more conferences during 2011. He has also been interviewed about the research on Newstalk’s Talking History programme. The pamphlet sells online from www.dalymountproject.com at €10 (including post and packing costs). |
