@bfcdublin Dutch photojournalist Bert Tielemans was among the crowd in Dalymount Park last month for Bohemians' last home league match of the season. On his return to the Netherlands he sent us some photos of his visit to Dalymount and warm thanks for "the pleasure of meeting this fantastic club with all these great fans". "I hope the future will bring new success and that you guys can solve the financial problems soon," Bert wrote. He tells us that he only realised how significant the stadium was to Dutch football when he got home. "The Netherlands squad played a historic match against Ireland in 1983 (2-3 to Netherlands with goals from Marco van Basten and Ruud Gullit). I didn't realise this last Friday, but on that day in October, the new Orange was born that gave us lots of success later in the 1980s." Bert's nine-year-old son will now train with a Bohs jersey on. Samples of Bert's work as photographer and writer on sport can be seen at www.berttielemans.nl
