The Bohemian women's team drew 3-3 with Santry on Monday (August 24) after their opponents staged a late fightback. Match report by Shaun Kidd Bohs had several good chances in the first half and had the ball in the Santry net only for the referee to rule offside. With 25 minutes played Santry went ahead.Following a corner, Rachel Dooley blocked a shot on the line but the Santry striker followed up to shoot past the Bohs players on the line. 0-1 at the break, but Bohs came out the better side and were unlucky not to be level on a couple of occasions with the Santry keeper pulling off several good saves including a chip from Kerrie Deegan which was heading for the empty goal only for the keeper to get back in time. Bohs were level with 15 minutes to go after Amie Sinclair fired home from close range. Then three minutes later Bohs won a free-kick 25 yards from goal. Up stepped Amy O'Connor to shoot past the wall and into the far corner, with the keeper well beaten. Five minutes later and it was 3-1. Kerrie Deegan did well down the right side of the pitch and crossed for Sinead O'Kelly to volley home giving the keeper no chance. With three minutes to go Bohs gave away a free-kick on the edge of the area and a Santry player was left unmarked to score from close range. Ddeep into time added on, it was 3-3. A corner kick was hit with pace toward six- yard box and another Santry player touched the ball home. The referee blew for full-time shortly after Bohs re-started the match.
