Bohemians Under-12s 7 Rivermount 0 E-mail

@bfcdubin Bohemians Under-12s were in action against Rivermount on Saturday and put in a dominant display from the first minute.

The team played with a tremendous amount of composure and due to the excellent decision making, high quality passing, crossing and combinations created 18 goal-scoring chances in total, hitting the post twice along the way.

Dillon McCann playing in central midfield got the team off the mark with an excellent finish. Man of the match Timmy Aldrejev was creative and dangerous on the left side of midfield and thoroughly deserved his goal.

Darryl Dunne kept the ball moving in midfield extremely well throughout the game and played a big part in helping David Lyons, Anthony Vavasour and Ryan Horan to also get on the scoresheet.

Andrew Mullholland was dangerous going forward when he came on as a second half substitute and through an excellent piece of awareness and skill, he turned and beat two defenders before adding to the team's tally.

The games talking point occured when Timmy Aldrejev went off injured in the first half. A temporary substitution was made and Conor Hynes replaced Timmy on the left side of midfield.

A quick throw-in was taken and Conor went on a run down the left beating not one or two but three men before finding himself in the box to score a fantastic goal less than 30 seconds after coming on.

Conor duly came back off to allow Timmy to carry on in the first half before he then put in an excellent display in defence in the second half.

Well done to the team for an excellent 7-0 win and to Timmy Aldrejev for winning the man-of-the-match award.
